Iowa Hunger Summit Meal Packaging Event

Join the World Food Prize Foundation in making a difference for Iowa families! 🌽 On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, volunteer to package meals as part of the kickoff for the 20th annual Iowa Hunger Summit.

📍 Location: Norman E. Borlaug Hall of Laureates, 100 Locust St, Des Moines, IA 50309, United States.

Volunteering is organized in one-hour shifts between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.:

• 9 to 10 a.m.: Event setup 🛠️
• 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Meal packaging (10 volunteers per station) 🍴
• 1 to 2 p.m.: Prepare packaged meals for delivery 🚚

Individuals and groups are welcome! This hands-on event aims to package over 20,000 meals to support families right here in Iowa.

As part of the larger Iowa Hunger Summit, taking place on July 22, 2026, attendees can enjoy inspiring speakers, interactive exhibits, and engaging panel discussions.
