About John Németh:

Németh's journey began in the early 1990s amidst Idaho’s muddy potato fields, where he was drawn to the raw rock influenced by hip hop. After being introduced to legendary blues figures, he formed the band Fat John & the 3 Slims, which gained notoriety in Boise.
He later released recordings such as The Jack of Harms (2002) and Come and Get It (2004), collaborating with notable musicians including Junior Watson.
In 2004, Németh moved to San Francisco, where he played with Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets. His national debut on Blind Pig Records, Magic Touch (2007), received acclaim, and subsequent albums like Love Me Tonight (2009) and Name the Day! (2010) earned numerous nominations.
Németh’s impressive career includes collaborations with Elvin Bishop, a return to Memphis music, and multiple Blues Music Awards highlighting his versatility and talent. His latest album, Stronger Than Strong, released in December 2019 with The Blue Dreamers, showcases his ability to blend classic and modern blues into a timeless sound.
