Junior Gardeners Competition

Join us for the 10th Annual Junior Gardeners Competition as part of the Stafford Party in the Park! 🎉 This exciting event celebrates budding green thumbs aged 16 and under, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your gardening skills!

🗓️ Competition Highlights:

• Plant Pickup: Register from May 22 to June 14, 2026 at Sunset Nursery (2177 Greenwood Road) and receive your plant at no cost!
• Growing Period: Nurture your chosen plant from June 15 to July 18.
• Awards Ceremony: On July 18, bring your plants to Stafford Park (641 Third Ave South) for judging and the awards ceremony!
  • Plant Drop-Off: 10:00 - 10:30 am
  • Judging: 10:30 - 11:00 am
  • Awards Ceremony: 11:00 - 11:30 am
• BBQ Lunch: Enjoy a free BBQ lunch at noon for all competitors! 🍔

🎈 Additional Fun:

Stay after the ceremony for hours of fun at the Stafford Party in the Park! Enjoy activities like:

• A bouncy castle
• Laurentian Valley Fire Department's slip and slide 🚒
• Youth prize draw
• Splash pad and playgrounds 🌊🎉
