Krampuslauf (Running of the Krampuses) Presented by Hessen Haus

Join us for a festive celebration of Krampusnacht with the legendary Krampuslauf at Christkindlmarket Des Moines! We're calling all Krampi handlers and costume participants to reserve your free ticket here.

🌟 Costume Guidelines:
Please remember, only Krampus costumes allowed—no fairies, clowns, or Santa Claus, please!

👣 Event Highlights:

• Participate in a fun run or walk, dressed as the wicked beast Krampus, right after Krampus Night, traditionally observed on December 5.
• Meet up at Hessen Haus, the official pre- and post-parade spot, where you can greet some of the famous Krampi!
• Join the procession led by Saint Nicholas and your handlers for a traditional and family-friendly experience of Krampus fun!
