La Tropi-Cal

La Tropi-Cal is a monthly timba and Cuban salsa social held on the last Friday of every month, from 10 PM to 2 AM, at Il Pirata Restaurant in San Francisco.

The night centers on Timba, Cuban salsa, Son, and related Afro-Cuban and Latin club sounds. Resident DJs Walt Digz and Dark Rum play current and classic Timba, Son, salsa, Reggaeton, Cubaton, Dancehall, and Spanish Reggae and Plena from Panama for a late-night Cuban salsa and timba crowd.

Cover is $10. The event is 21+ and takes place in Il Pirata's restaurant and bar setting near 16th and Utah at the base of Potrero Hill, with nearby street parking.
