Come and be a part of the Largs Viking Festival Opening Parade! Mark your calendars for a joyful, colorful celebration on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at 1 PM. Families and community organizations are warmly invited to join in the festivities!

🎭 Whether you sing, march, play music, wear costumes, or decorate a vehicle, every group contributes something unique to this beloved family event!

📬 How to Get Involved:
If your group would like to participate in the Opening Parade, please email your expression of interest to lvf1263@gmail.com.
Include the following:

• Group Name / Charity
• Main Contact Name
• Email Address & Main Telephone Number
• What You’ll Be Doing in the Parade (e.g. music, marching, themed costumes, vehicles)
• Approximate Numbers Taking Part (Adults / Children under 16)
• Details of appropriate marshals

A prize will be awarded to the best parade group or float, so let your creativity shine! 🌟

🤝 A Quick Note:
For everyone's safety and enjoyment, the festival must submit a formal Procession Notification for approval by authorities and Police Scotland. Your help in providing clear and accurate information is greatly appreciated.

The Festival team will contact all groups to confirm participation and provide next steps after reviewing submissions.
