Join us for a unique evening of sound as Laura Misch and Sofie Birch present two solo performances that explore an immersive space of resonance through breath, vibration, and attentive listening.

Laura Misch: London-based artist Laura Misch will showcase new material rooted in saxophone improvisation, layered vocals, field recordings, and electronic production. Her compositions, influenced by nature and slow atmospheres, create environments filled with drifting harmonies, rhythmic depths, and expansive melodic structures. With acclaimed releases like Sample The Sky and Sample The Earth, she emphasizes ecology, perception, and a shared presence.

Collaborative Intermission: Experience a brief collaboration between the two artists before Sofie Birch continues her set. Sofie Birch brings her ongoing practice Ambient Abracadabra, which merges performance, radio, and immersive listening environments. Utilizing synthesis, voice, acoustic instrumentation, and spatial sound, Birch generates subtle tensions and releases, embodying a ritualistic approach to sound. Her work melds sound design, spirituality, and environmental consciousness, where atmospheric compositions create a physical listening experience suspended between meditation and dream.
