🎻 The Artists 🎻
✨ Ahana's songs tread a confluence she finds bewildering; where East meets West, soma seeps through soul, and the mystical mingles in the material.
She recently released her debut LP, 'Soma' — a collection of folk-inspired love letters to the body, the most insistent of her muses. You can listen to it here! https://li.sten.to/ahana_soma
✨ Nayar Collective make music borne out of deep friendship and a shared belief in its power to provide solace and connection in a fractured world. Founded by singer-songwriter Vedantha Kumar (August and After), it unites a diverse set of skilled musicians, including classical violinist Inês Delgado (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and jazz multi-instrumentalist Oliver Rutherford (Makam Salam). Together, they craft heart-wrenching, part-improvised arrangements, with tender yet soaring vocals reflecting on themes of hope, belonging, and spiritual longing.
"Nayar has achieved something rare: a sound that feels timeless yet fresh, deeply introspective yet universally resonant." — We Write About Music
