Lexi will guide attendees on where to experience authentic Alaska Native art, dance, storytelling, and traditions right in Anchorage.

Moreover, you'll gain practical tips to help you identify genuine, artist-made Native artworks versus mass-produced imitations when shopping. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have lived in Alaska for years, you will leave with a deeper appreciation for the living cultures that shape this area and learn how to engage with them respectfully.

Lexi is a Cup'ik/Yup'ik Alaska Native professional, dedicated writer, and community advocate based in Anchorage. With over 15 years of experience in communications and community engagement in Alaska's Tribal, nonprofit, and government sectors, she amplifies Indigenous voices and fosters authentic connections. As a published author and the founder of Yaaruin Collective, Lexi blends professional expertise with deep personal roots in Alaska Native culture. She is passionate about guiding visitors on how to engage meaningfully with Alaska's diverse Indigenous communities.
