Join us for the 5th edition of our meetup, where we are excited to introduce #workshops at each event! This month, we kick off with "Intro to #QGIS" as our first workshop under the #Geospatial Technology of the Month banner.

This meetup is open to everyone—no expertise required! If you identify with any of the following, you belong here:

• Curious about maps, data, and how location shapes our world
• Students exploring geospatial as a career path
• GIS analysts, cartographers, and remote sensing specialists
• Developers working with spatial data, mapping libraries, or location APIs
• Urban planners, environmental scientists, and researchers
• Open source contributors (OSM, QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, etc.)

The event will start with a workshop, followed by 2–3 short talks (15 min each) on various geo topics—passion projects, open source tools, research—concluding with networking opportunities.
