Macbeth: An Appalachian Adaptation

Friday, July 24th - Saturday, July 25th 5:00pm - 7:00pmOn the front lawn of the Panama City Center for the Arts15 minutes intermissionFree performances of William Shakespeare’s Scottish tragedy Macbeth. This adaptation takes place in the heart of the Appalachian mountains where people seem to go missing and haints and hexes fill the air. Join us yokels as we travel through the holler, and retell the tale of Macbeth! Performances will be outdoors with some seating provided, lawn chairs and blankets are welcomedFollowing Macbeth performances, there will be a production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by INV at McKenzie Park Friday, Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday Matinee.
