Morning walk #63: Calhau - Parque da Pedra - Encosta da Serafina

Join us for another circular walk through Monsanto!
We will kick off from the Parque do Calhau and meander around Serafina Hill, passing by the Moinho das 3 Cruzes and the geo-monument at Parque da Pedra.

Distance and Duration:
This scenic circular route spans 3.1 km and will take around 60 minutes to complete.

With a small group size, we aim to create a cozy atmosphere. If you have secured your spot but can’t make it, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance.

If you foresee being late, kindly message the guides, and we’ll do our best to wait for you. Otherwise, we'll start our walk promptly at 08:35 to honor everyone’s time.

Meeting / Ending Point:
📍 Parking lot at Parque do Calhau
🚗 Free parking available
🚌 The 770 bus from Sete Rios station directly stops at the parking lot

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• At least 0.5L of water
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Sunscreen / hat

For the enjoyment of the group and respect for nature, please make sure to stow your phone and keep it on silent throughout the walk.

Important Notes:

• The walk will proceed even if there's a chance of light rain — don't forget your rain jacket!
• If conditions are poor due to prolonged rain or if heavy rain/lightning is forecasted, I will cancel the walk by midnight the previous night.
