MUMBA MILANO X WANAKAM: A BORDERLESS KITCHEN APERITIVO

Wanakam is incredibly proud to host Kiran Vajpey—founder of the acclaimed Mumba Milano supper club—for an exclusive culinary take-over.
After 20 years in fashion, Kiran returned to the comfort of the spice-laden kitchen, creating a space for anyone who has ever searched for a sense of belonging. Now, she brings her "borderless kitchen" to Amsterdam. Drawing from her South Asian roots and her life in Italy, this pop-up features a unique, plant-forward vegetarian menu that beautifully bridges Indian, Italian, and Middle Eastern flavors.
To complete the cross-cultural aesthetic, we'll have a curated lineup of DJs from Italy and South Asia (TBA) setting the vibe for the evening.
The Menu (Buffet Style):
Fiery Chilly Cashews: Chili-coated cashews with fresh curry leaves
Indian Tempered Panzanella: A bold twist on an Italian classic
Fruit Chaat: Peaches, cashews, tamarind chutney, bean crisp, and coriander
Onion Bhaji: Served with a Guntur chili and jaggery dip
Eaton Mess: Stone fruit, meringue, whipped cream, mint, and lemon curd
Drinks Included: Your ticket includes full access to the buffet, plus your choice of: 1 Spritz OR 1 glass of Italian natural wine OR 2 sodas/Wanakam chais.
