Join us for the 39th session of the Neu Berlin Institute of Improvised Music at the renowned Ausland!

We are thrilled to host a new improvised music experience where we'll kick things off with an opening group performance followed by curated sessions designed by our dedicated curator. This event aims to bridge the gaps between various music improvisation practices, fostering connection and collaboration among diverse musical backgrounds.

Our mission is to create a supportive environment for musicians to explore and develop their unique voices through improvisation. By promoting cross-genre interactions, we aspire to prevent stagnation in the improvisational field and inspire fresh perspectives.

This initiative is rooted in a legacy that dates back to 2005, when the Neu New York/Vienna Institute of Improvised Music was founded by the late saxophonist Marco Eneidi in Vienna.
