Join us at NeuroPride, a welcoming space during Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride festivities! โจ
Neuro Pride Ireland will set up a Quiet(er) Zone at Pride Village after the March, offering a serene environment for those who need it.
๐ Travel Tips:
Catch the relaxed bus from the GPO to the Parade, loading before the parade begins at 12:30 PM. Donโt forget to bring water and a fan to stay cool!
๐ค Support Available:
Aspire - The Autism Spectrum Association of Ireland, invites anyone wanting support to join them in the parade. Contact them directly for more details.
๐ Meet-Up:
Come visit us at the Neuro Pride tent in the Pride Village starting from 1 PM. Accessibility is available through the east gate or at the main entrance in the west gate. Please note that bags will be searched for security.
๐ง Chill Zone:
Our coordinators, Nem and Gillian, along with dedicated volunteers, are excited to welcome anyone seeking a safe and calming space during the festivities. This area is perfect for neurodivergent individuals, their allies, and supporters โ no diagnosis is required. ๐งธ
You can expect a cozy environment with:
- Beanbags
- Ear defenders
- Art supplies
- Fidget toys
๐ Flexibility Welcome:
Feel free to come and go as you please โ there's no pressure to stay. You can communicate in a way that feels comfortable for you.
To help with communication, weโll have name stickers using a traffic light system:
- ๐ฉ Green = Happy to chat
- ๐จ Yellow = Prefer to initiate conversation
- ๐ฅ Red = Prefer not to interact
