Night on Earth

5 taxis. 5 towns. One night. The journey with the protagonists of this black humoured film, immersed in the light of city lanterns and neon lights, begins in the evening in Los Angeles, and follows them through the night in New York, Paris, Rome and the pale winter dawn in Helsinki. For a moment, drivers and passengers share a special bond - taxis are confessionals, places where unexpectedly the paths of people from different worlds, with different status and different dreams cross. Someone gains an insight into someone else's life for a moment and perhaps marks it, perhaps looks at reality in a new way himself. The night will blur the contours of reality and change perspectives. A moment of clairvoyance will occur on a Parisian street, Rome will combine the sacred and the profane in a comical way, in Helsinki a sobering will come.
