Resilient Community Care in the Age of AgeTech: Every Crisis an Opportunity

What capabilities, services, partnerships, and technologies must a community develop today in order to function effectively during a prolonged crisis?
The second edition of “Old School? Smart School! Reinventing AgeTech” will explore the next stage of AgeTech and CareTech under the theme of crisis-resilient community care in an aging society.
As societies continue to age, communities must be able to support older adults not only in everyday life, but also during disasters, emergencies, and moments of uncertainty. This event will bring together perspectives from policy, technology, and care system design to discuss how communities, professional caregivers, families, startups, and public institutions can work together to build more resilient models of care.
Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking, participants will explore how AgeTech and CareTech can move beyond individual solutions and contribute to stronger, more connected community care systems.
The event will welcome participants from the care sector, IT industry, education, startups, and government-related organizations, including stakeholders connected to Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. It will also provide an opportunity for cross-sector dialogue and networking among people working across AgeTech, CareTech, and community care.

長期的な危機を効果的に乗り越えるために、コミュニティは今、どのような能力・サービス・パートナーシップ・技術を整えておくべきか。
「Old School? Smart School! Reinventing AgeTech」 シリーズ第2回では、高齢社会における 「危機に強いコミュニティケア」 をテーマに、AgeTech・CareTechの次のステージを探ります。
高齢化が進む社会において、地域は日常生活だけでなく、災害や緊急時、不測の危機においても高齢者を支えられる仕組みを求められています。本イベントでは、政策、テクノロジー、介護・ケアシステムの視点から、地域、専門職、家族、スタートアップ、行政がどのように連携し、より強く、しなやかなケアの仕組みをつくれるのかを議論します。
当日は、基調講演、パネルディスカッション、参加者同士のネットワーキングを通じて、AgeTech・CareTechが個別のソリューションにとどまらず、地域全体のケアシステムにどのように貢献できるかを探ります。
介護業界、IT業界、教育関係者、スタートアップ、厚生労働省関係者など、幅広い分野の方々にご参加いただく予定です。AgeTech・CareTechに関わる多様な立場の参加者が集まり、領域を越えた意見交換や新たなつながりを生み出す機会となります。
