ORMSIDE presents: Nkisi

On Saturday 15th August, Ormside welcomes back a true pillar of our sonic identity. Nkisi returns for a defining, all-night-long session after nearly a decade of shared history within the space.

Inviting us into her expansive ethnographic research practice and distinctive sound world, she offers total immersion via rhythmic cycles and ceremonial sonics. Across the night, she will guide the room through five distinct chapters – a deliberate, unfolding procession exploring temporality, repetition, and trance-states
