ŌRONGOHAU | BEST NEW ZEALAND POEMS 2025

Join us for a celebration of the 2025 edition of Ōrongohau | Best New Zealand Poems, curated by Cilla McQueen! 🌟 Chairing this exciting event is Chris Price, and we have a stellar lineup of local poets ready to share their works:

These talented poets will present their featured poems and their personal favorite pieces from Aotearoa as a warm-up to National Poetry Day. 📚✨

This event is part of the Writers on Mondays series, presented by the International Institute of Modern Letters and The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. The 2026 series will run every Monday from 12:15—1:15 PM, starting from 6 July to 28 September, held at Te Papa and Circa Theatre, with special evening sessions at Meow.
