Program Overview:

Our program adopts the latest industry-standard methods of animal CPR, ensuring participants gain up-to-date, evidence-based instruction. This course will equip you with the skills to provide immediate, effective CPR and first aid to dogs and cats until veterinary assistance can be arranged.

👉 Certification: Participants will become certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid (PetCPR+ Certification, valid for 2 years)! 🐶🐱

We encourage you to bring a stuffed animal for hands-on practice (optional but recommended) 🧸.

Skills & Topics Covered:

Participants will learn how to:

• Apply safety techniques when handling sick or injured animals 🛡️
• Perform emergency triage and assess life-threatening situations 🚑
• Safely restrain and transport sick or injured animals 🚧
• Provide first aid while en route to veterinary care 🏥
• Take and interpret vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, CRT) and distinguish between normal and abnormal readings 🔍
• Effectively assemble and utilize a pet first aid kit during emergencies 🎒
• Manage common medical emergencies like severe wounds, poisoning, burns, choking, etc. 🚨
• Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on dogs and cats using standardized techniques 🧑‍⚕️

Continuing Education Credits:
