Picnic in the Readhead Park 2026

🌳 Join us for the annual FREE community picnic in Readhead Park!
Bring your own picnic blanket and enjoy a fantastic afternoon filled with:

• 🎶 Live music & performances from local talents Tipps & Lucy Shaw
• 🎪 Various trading stalls and exciting tombolas
• 🧒 Fun kids' games and family activities
• 🍴 Refreshments & snacks available from The Little Hut in the Park
• 🎨 Artwork on display by Sheila Graber and crafts by Jen
• 🎳 Try your hand at Bowls with the Bowls Club (just £1, all equipment provided)

All proceeds will go towards enhancing the beautiful Readhead Park and its facilities. Let's support local businesses and raise money for several charities together!

🚗 Additional parking is available at South Tyneside College (Grosvenor Road entrance) during the event.
