Rail Splitters began as a country blues duo and transformed into an energetic rock and roll band with deep musical roots. Founded by brothers John and Patrick Dermody, the band expanded in 2020 with the addition of drummer Ralph Mietz and guitarist David Ormiston. This 4-piece ensemble draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Reverend Gary Davis, Django Reinhardt, J.J. Cale, The Kinks, and the classic sounds of Motown.
