Regulation 10 - Consultation Update

The DIFC is consulting on proposed updates to its AI governance regime — known as ‘Regulation 10’ — under the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 (2020). A large proportion of DIFC-registered companies are likely to have systems that fall within the scope of this regulation.
Join us for a practical update on the proposed changes, a refresher on the core requirements and expectations of Regulation 10, what to expect if the regulator comes knocking, and the no-regret actions organisations should be taking now.
We will also consider the wider dimensions of effective corporate governance over AI, including the questions boards and leadership teams should be asking and the actions they should be taking.
