Repair Café

Join us at the Repair Café and turn your broken items into functioning treasures! ♻️✨ Together with our dedicated volunteers, you'll have the chance to disassemble, troubleshoot, and possibly repair a variety of items at Library 21c. Not only will you save money, but you'll also gain valuable repair skills and help the environment by reducing waste!

What We Can Help With:

• 🧥 Garments (mending only, must be unsoiled)
• 💍 Jewelry
• 🧵 Sewing Machines
• 🏠 Small Appliances (e.g., vacuums)
• 📻 Small Electronics (e.g., radios, lamps)
• 🪵 Wooden Items
• 🚲 Bicycles (please inform us in advance for special equipment)

What We Cannot Help With:

• 👗 Alterations of Garments
• 🍽️ Large Appliances (e.g., stoves, refrigerators)
• 🚗 Vehicles
• 💻 Computers, Tablets, and Phones
• ⚠️ Any hazardous items

Important Guidelines:

• Carry-in items only.
• Stay with your property while waiting for repairs—no drop-offs.
• Only one item can be worked on at a time.
• Volunteers do not guarantee repairs and are not liable for items post-repair.
• Sign our agreement before receiving assistance.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but we encourage you to register here so we can ensure that a volunteer with the required skills is available to assist you!
