
Reptile Day
The Museum of Arts and Sciences is excited to announce Reptile Day is back again for 2026!From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Reptile Day is packed full of events that everyone can enjoy, featuring reptile Meet & Greets, Live Animal Experiences hosted by a Wildlife Biologist from the Department of Natural Resources, and the Georgia Reptile Society’s table which will feature their scaly friends. Have your face painted by a local artist, grab a donut and lemonade from the DonutNV food truck, and watch a masterpiece being made with a live painting by local artist Kevin “Scene” Lewis!! Be sure to catch one of the many shows offered throughout the day. Before the heat rolls in from 10 a.m. to noon, visit the lemurs in the outside pavilion see the sun safely through a specially filtered telescope provided by the Middle Georgia Astronomical Society. The 2026 Reptile Day festivities are sponsored by Clay Hill Exotics.
