Join us for a unique writing experience where we make writing together easier!
Retreat, Yourself hosts free library crawls twice a month in the beautiful Bay Area. Each session takes place in a lovely library where fellow writers gather to create and inspire one another.
✨ Event Highlights:
- Zero Pressure: No teaching, no critique, no genre restrictions.
- Simply bring a project and engage with the community for motivation and accountability!
Morning Schedule:
- 10:00 AM — GATHER: A short read-aloud, quick hellos, and find your spot.
- 10:15 AM — THE LUDDITE HOUR: Phones away, Wi-Fi off, and pen on paper for one honest hour of writing.
- 11:15 AM — BREAK: Stretch, browse the stacks, and compare notes with fellow writers.
- 11:30 AM — OPEN WRITING: Keep going at your own pace and in any format you like.
- 1:00 PM — SCATTER: Stay as long as the library allows, or leave when you’re finished — nothing is mandatory.

- A notebook and pen for the Luddite Hour
- A library card if you have one!
