Join us for an engaging session of Senior Wednesday, designed for active seniors, in collaboration with local institutions! Discover the darker side of history with this month's topic:

Presented by John Burchill, a retired Professor of Criminal Justice with over 16 years of experience!

Delve into the scandalous tales from the plains of Kansas, where lawbreakers danced with the devil. Some highlights include:

  • The infamous "Bloody Christmas" of 1873 🩸
  • The Kansas City Journal of Commerce’s take on "The Bender Tragedy Out Done"
  • Wichita's "Secret Police" 🕵️
    gathered from historic records.

Doors Open: 9:30 AM
Program Starts: 10:00 AM
