Join Natasha Frost for an exciting and inclusive performance experience with the Shines Performance Team! This project is designed for salsa dancers looking to step into the world of performance. Whether you're a seasoned performer from The Mojo Movement or completely new to it, everyone is welcome!

In this supportive environment, you'll build your confidence, enhance your solo dancing skills, and discover the joy of moving as part of a team. The choreography will emphasize musicality, expression, and coordination, allowing you to dance comfortably either barefoot or in flat shoes.

Expect a relaxed and grounded style, focusing on enjoying the music and expressing yourself without the pressure of performance-ready expectations. This is your chance to learn and grow alongside fellow dancers!

💃 Who It’s For

Open to all genders
Suitable for dancers at above absolute beginner level
Dancers from all movement and dance backgrounds are encouraged to join. A basic understanding of salsa timing and fundamentals is desirable, but prior performance experience is not necessary.

📅 Term Structure

First Block: AUD 660
- Dates: 20 July to 28 September (No rehearsal on 3 August)
- 10 rehearsals | Wednesdays, 7:35 PM–8:50 PM | Cavendish Road SHS Performing Arts Centre
Second Block: AUD 660
- Dates: 5 October to 7 December | 10 rehearsals | Wednesdays, 7:35 PM–8:50 PM | Cavendish Road SHS Performing Arts Centre
Both Blocks: AUD 1,200

🎟 Performance and Event Requirements

Latin Cabaret: Participants must be available for the required performance dates. A AUD 59 performer fee applies to cover venue, lighting, and sound costs, which can be waived if you sell five tickets.
The Mojo Ball: Performers are required to purchase a ticket for the event.
