Smokey Jack Observatory

Join ITT for an unforgettable evening of stargazing at the Smokey Jack Observatory in Westcliffe, Colorado, an International Dark Sky Community. Knowledgeable volunteers will guide us through the night sky using the observatory’s state-of-the-art 14” telescope.Before heading to the observatory, guests will have time to explore Westcliffe’s Planet Walk or enjoy dinner on their own.• $45 per person(transportation)• The observatory is volunteer-operated, and donations are encouraged.• This program is weather-dependent and will be canceled in the event of poor or overcast conditions.Must have a valid DOD ID to register. 719-556-4867.
