Sounds of Summer Concert with Slapnation

Join us for a delightful evening with Slapnation, where the music vibes range from soft dinner tunes to funky Motown, beach melodies, and disco beats! 🎺 This ten-piece band boasts an impressive rhythm and horn section, along with amazing vocals, ensuring a night filled with fun and entertainment.

Grab your lawn chairs and kick off your shoes to dance by the scenic York River during Yorktown’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series! Each Thursday evening, you'll experience a unique musical journey with various genres including country, jazz, R&B, and much more. 🍽️ Enjoy delicious offerings from food trucks like Water Street Grille, Carrot Tree, and Ben & Jerry’s while you soak in the summer atmosphere.

Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers (but no tables, umbrellas, or tents). Enjoy dancing on the floor, playing friendly games of cornhole, and savoring tasty meals available from rotating food trucks. 🚚

Free parking is available at designated lots throughout town, including York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and the County Administration Building. Plus, the ADA-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m., making it easier for you to enjoy the concert!
