Experience the magic of live blues music as we welcome the legendary Johnny Long Blues Band! With over 50 years of experience, John Long is a delta and country blues musician with deep roots in blues history, having learned from his adoptive father, Homesick James. Walk into the history of blues as John takes the stage! 🎸

Venue Change:
Note that this event will now be held at the Denver Turnverein in the basement ballroom instead of the Pearl/Mercury Cafe. Starting in August, our new dance home will be La Rumba.

Parking:

• Free parking surrounding the building and on surrounding streets.
• If the lot is full, temporarily park at the bottom of the stairs to obtain a pass for complimentary parking at the bank parking lot just a block away.

Schedule:
🕖 Doors open at 7:00 PM
🕢 Beginner-friendly blues dance class from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, taught by Jen Delk & Gwen Bone.
🕗 Dance party with live music from 8:30 PM to midnight, featuring the Johnny Long Blues Band at 9 PM and DJ breaks by Jen! 🎵

• $15 for class only ($10 student discount with ID)
• $20 for dance only ($15 student discount with ID)
