🌌 Celestial Encounters: Celebrating Haegue Yang and Isang Yun

Join us for an inspiring evening as the LA Phil teams up with MOCA to spotlight the visionary work of internationally celebrated artist Haegue Yang (Seoul, 1971). This event delves into Yang’s profound exploration of the life and legacy of renowned Korean composer Isang Yun (1917–1995).

✨ Haegue Yang, known for her captivating abstract visual language and sensory experiences, will present an elaborate installation (2024) in the galleries at MOCA, culminating in a live performance of Yun's Double Concerto for oboe, harp, and small orchestra (1977) by the LA Phil New Music Group at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

📍 Extended Museum Hours: Enjoy viewing Haegue Yang: Star-Crossed Rendezvous at MOCA Grand Avenue from 17:00 to 20:00. Afterward, make your way to the concert starting at 20:00 at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
