Summer 2026 SGLRG Choose Your Adventure Run!

Join us for the Choose Your Adventure Run, an exciting opportunity for all runners, movers, running clubs, and everyone in between! 🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️ This amazing event is FREE and hosted by the Seattle Green Lake Running Group (SGLRG) and Cascade Orienteering Club!

We will turn the Wallingford neighborhood into a game board, where you are the players! ⚡ There's no set route, and you can pick your starting time—choose between 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM. (Most participants usually opt for the earlier slot!)

🗺️ What to Expect:

• Adventure Awaits: Use a map to find checkpoints sprinkled around the neighborhood, answer fun questions to prove your discoveries, and enjoy exploring! We will provide maps, questions, and you can even scan QR codes for a PDF version on your smartphone. 📱
• Duration & Distance: Plan for a 75-minute adventure with approximately 20 checkpoints—that’s about 5 miles! You’re welcome to skip any checkpoints along the way!
• Start Location: Meet us at 34th & Stone Way, right outside the Brooks Trailhead store.
• Team Dynamics: You can run solo, in small teams, or with a larger group—whatever suits you! Note that teams sharing answers is not allowed, keeping the spirit of adventure alive!
• What to Bring: No special gear required; we’ll hand you a paper map! However, smartphone users can benefit from the digital version too! 📲
• Prizes: No prizes here, folks—just pure enjoyment and fun!

🍻 Post-Run Fun:

After the adventure, join the SGLRG and CascadeOC crew at Fremont Brewing for some relaxation! The venue is kid and dog-friendly, offers non-alcoholic options, and features both indoor and heated outdoor seating. 🌳🍺
