The Next Generation with Lord Kempsell
Join us for an engaging evening at The Next Generation drinks on 1st September! 🍷
This month, we are thrilled to welcome Lord Kempsell, a distinguished journalist and political strategist. Ross has an impressive background, having served as a senior advisor to Boris Johnson and as Political Director for Conservative Campaign Headquarters. He is also known for his work at Guido Fawkes.
As one of the youngest members of the House of Lords, appointed in 2022, Ross founded his consultancy, Hyannis Strategy, where he advises prominent organizations like Policy Exchange and GB News.
Ross specializes in political strategy, public relations, and foreign affairs, offering a sharp perspective on contemporary geopolitics and Britain’s evolving role in the world.
During his talk, Chagos Unchanged, Lord Kempsell will delve into the history and strategic significance of the Chagos Islands, discussing recent negotiations with Mauritius and the new Prime Minister's potential actions regarding this issue. He will argue that the Chagos Islands should remain part of the United Kingdom, highlighting the pitfalls of transferring control to Mauritius.
This is an unmissable event for anyone interested in international law and Britain’s global standing.
