UNBROKEN x ORLANDO
📅 In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, join us at the Mills Gallery in Orlando, Florida for a heartfelt community portrait and storytelling project — UNBROKEN.
This transformative event invites individuals and families impacted by overdose to share their resilience and stories in a safe and nurturing environment. Inspired by the loss of Gavyn to accidental fentanyl poisoning, this project aims to remind everyone that they are not alone.
Visitors can:
- Walk through the gallery to view impactful portraits and hear powerful stories.
- Spend time in the community lounge while enjoying coffee and light refreshments.
- Listen to uplifting music and connect with others.
- For those who wish, there’s an opportunity to participate by sharing your own story and being photographed as part of The UNBROKEN Project.
This special gathering serves as a space for reflection, connection, and support. Portraits and stories captured will lead to future public art installations and community murals, honoring lives lost and promoting hope and recovery.
This is a FREE community event! 🖤
📍 Location: 1650 North Mills Ave., Orlando, FL, US 32803
