Two days. 200 builders. One question: What does the web look like when AI agents are the users? 🤖💡

This event is a build weekend dedicated to creating agent-native products — not just chatbots added to human applications, but innovative products crafted from the foundation for a web where agents can discover, authenticate, transact, and act independently. The hackathon is powered by the full agent-native stack taught at our Web for Agents workshops and Vibe Coding Nights, culminating in a Startup Demo Day and the next WebA Meetup showcase!

Hosted by: Immersive Commons, Runtype, and Cotal.ai at Frontier Tower SF 🚀.

The Two Pillars of the Hackathon:

• Agent Identity: Empowering every agent with a verifiable identity, allowing them to carry scoped permissions and act upon their credentials instead of relying on human logins.
• Agent Payments: Providing the infrastructure that enables agents to buy, sell, and make transactions independently, promoting them from mere assistants to economic actors. 💰🌍

Programming Highlights:

Friday:

• 5:00 PM: Doors open, check-in, and team formation.
• 6:00 PM: Keynote on what being agent-native truly means.
• 6:30 PM: Lightning talks from our sponsor stack, one per layer.
• 7:15 PM: Hacking begins! 🛠️
• 8:00 PM: Dinner & collaboration.

Saturday:

• 9:00 AM: Breakfast—let's keep building! 🍽️
• 10:00 AM: Parallel workshops on various topics: ship and deploy, on-device agents, MCP servers, agent payments, and agent-to-agent protocols.
• 12:30 PM: Lunch break. 🍔
• 3:00 PM: Deadline for submissions.
• 3:30 PM: Startup Demo Day: showcase your product, meet providers, and listen to partner talks.
• 5:30 PM: WebA Meetup showcase open to all Demo Day attendees!
• 7:00 PM: Judging and awards ceremony. 🏆
• 8:00 PM: Closing mixer.
• 9:00 PM: Event wrap-up!

Prizes:

A headline cash prize pool and the grand prize: 🥇 A personal AI supercomputer for the team that develops the best agent-first product! Additional prizes include named sponsor tracks, in-kind credits, subscriptions, and first looks from all partners.

• Hackathon Participant: Full build weekends, 200 spots available (selected by organizers).
• Startup (Demoing): Present your product at Demo Day.
• Sponsor / Investor / Judge / Volunteer: Register on the matching ticket.

Who's Behind It:

The hackathon is organized by Immersive Commons, a vibrant community of over 300 builders at Frontier Tower SF, led by Rayyan Zahid, who has facilitated over 90 builder events in the past year! Co-hosted with Runtype and Cotal.ai, supported by a coalition of sponsors powering every stack layer. 💪
