Info sull'evento
Join the Excitement of the Tokyo Yamathon! 🌟
The Tokyo Yamathon is an annual endurance and fundraising adventure where teams of 2 to 4 take on the challenge of walking or running around Tokyo’s renowned JR Yamanote train line. Will your team conquer all 30 stations in under 12 hours? Or will you opt for the Half Yamathon, visiting 15 stations in approximately 8 hours?
🤝 Registration Details:
- Strider Registration Period: August 14, 2026 (for team sign-ups)
- Official Registration Deadline: September 14, 2026 (for individual registrations)
How It Works:
- The Route: Follow a circular path that mimics the Yamanote Line, covering about 42 km (a full marathon distance) to visit all 30 stations.
- Proof of Completion: Capture a group photo at each station to verify your visit.
- Time Limit: Each team has a maximum of 12 hours to complete the full course. Track your timing via official apps like Webscorer.
- Navigation: While you're free to choose your path, shortcuts through restricted areas (like certain parks or temples) are a no-go!
Event Options:
- Full Yamathon: Complete the loop visiting all 30 stations (approx. 42 km).
- Half Yamathon: Visit 15 stations and finish at Mejiro Station (approx. 21 km).
