CELEBRATE THE LA RIVER COMMUNITY AT RIVERFEST 2026! 🌊

Join us for the fifth annual RiverFest hosted by Friends of the Los Angeles River, a FREE open-air environmental arts and community festival celebrating the culture, history, and people that shape the LA River.

🎨 Zine Making Workshop

Climate Designers LA, one of RiverFest's Arts Corner partners, will host a zine making workshop! Participants of all ages will create and take home a zine inspired by the LA River ecology. We will guide you through the zine-making process, exploring different methods, mediums, and providing prompts to inspire your creativity.

• Is the event family-friendly? Absolutely! Activities for all ages await.
• What kind of activities will there be? Expect live music, eco-education booths, hands-on workshops, food trucks, and more.
• Will there be food and drinks available? Yes, a variety of food trucks and beverage vendors will be on-site.
• What should I bring? A refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a blanket or low chair, and comfy clothes.
• Is parking available? Yes, parking passes for preferred lots are available for purchase. VIP ticket holders will have access to a VIP lot. Limited street parking is also available nearby.
• Can I take public transportation? Yes! The park is directly across from the Metro Gold Line’s Chinatown Station.
• Are pets allowed? Yes, well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. Please bring waste bags.
• Is the venue accessible? Yes, the park is ADA accessible.
• Will there be shade or seating? Limited shade and seating will be available; we encourage you to bring your own picnic blanket or low chairs.
• Do I need to print my ticket? No need to print; we can check you in via QR code on your phone or the email you used to register.
• Is re-entry allowed? Yes, but please check in at the entrance again if you leave and return.
• Will there be any giveaways? Yes! Many community partners and sponsors will have activities, freebies, and a raffle throughout the day.

Note: No outside food/drink or alcohol will be allowed into RiverFest, except for water and refillable water bottles. Medical exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Event security will conduct bag checks at all check-in locations.
