20/08 – CREATIVITY AS A WAY OF BEING Cacao & Breathwork Ceremony

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to create.

As a child, I was always making something—singing, performing, inventing stories. But for a long time, I believed creativity belonged to a special category of people. Artists.

People who had somehow earned the right to create because they were talented enough, gifted enough or good enough.
It took me many years to realise that creativity doesn't work like that.
Perhaps we don't become artists first and then gain permission to create. Perhaps we become artists in the very act of creating. And perhaps creativity isn't only about art at all.

Maybe it's also about the way we move through an ordinary day. The way we meet another person. The way we solve problems. The way we care for the people we love. The way we choose to live.

During this ceremony, we'll gently explore both.
We'll notice where shame, perfectionism or self-doubt may have made our creative parts quieter, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that long to express, imagine, make and share.

We'll begin with ceremonial cacao to arrive fully in the present moment, followed by a guided breathwork journey and time for integration afterwards.
You don't need to think of yourself as a creative person to come.
Maybe that's exactly why you should.

Please wear comfortable clothes.
It is best to eat something light about two hours before the event so you arrive neither hungry nor too full.
If you have one, bring an eye mask or light scarf, a bottle of water and a notebook if you'd like to write afterwards.
This practice includes intensive breathwork and ceremonial cacao. It is not suitable during pregnancy or for people with epilepsy, glaucoma, serious heart conditions, severe cardiovascular disease, unmanaged hypertension or acute psychiatric disorders.
