2026 Nolan Watters Memorial

Join us in honoring 11 years of battling depression and preventing suicide at the Nolan Watters Memorial Barrel Race! 🐎 This nonprofit event aims to raise awareness while featuring an exhilarating barrel racing competition.

📍 Location: Norco Ingalls Arena, where we have two covered arenas for a fantastic experience!

💰 Prize Purse: We're excited to announce a $15,000 Added 5D Barrel Race, ensuring this is the highlight of the year!

Schedule:

• Friday:

  • Time Onlys: 10 am - 1:30 pm
  • Warm-Up Race: Starts at 2:00 pm

• Saturday:

  • Open Race: $5,000 prize starting at 9:00 am
  • Youth Runs: As soon as the Open ends
  • Silent Auction: Noon - 8 pm
  • Shot Relay Race: Starts 30 minutes after Youth ends

• Sunday:

  • Open Race: $5,000 prize starting at 8:00 am
  • Youth Runs: After the Open ends

🏆 Awards: Average awards will be presented 30 minutes after the Youth runs on Sunday. Each D winner of Saturday and Sunday’s Open will receive Buckles, and Circle Y Saddles will go to Average Winners of both Open and Youth. Prizes will be given up to 5th place in the Average.

👦 Youth Competitors: Ages 16 and under as of October 9th, 2026.

• Youth Format: 4-D Jackpot (1D = fastest time, 2D = fastest time + 1.0 second, etc.)
• Prime: Ages 17 - 49 (carry over only)
• Senior: 50 years and over (carry over only)

💵 Fees:

• Warm-Up Race: $75
• Saturday Open: $100
• Sunday Open: $100
• Average Fee: $50
• Grounds Fee: $15 per person per day
• Youth Fee: $50
• Senior & Prime Side Pots: $35
