27th Annual McElveen Race For The ARK 5K + 1 Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Join Us for the 27th Annual McElveen Race for The ARK! 🏃‍♀️

Get ready for an exciting day on August 15, 2026 in Downtown Summerville! This vibrant race supports families affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementia, provided by The ARK.

🌟 Event Details:

• Location: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville
• Schedule:
  • 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 7:45 a.m.
  • 1-Mile Fun Run: Kicks off at 9:00 a.m.

🏆 Awards will follow the fun run! Top three overall male and female winners will be recognized, along with age group awards. Additionally, a $100 prize will be awarded to the first male and female who break the course records (15:40 for males and 17:51 for females).

💳 Registration Fees (through August 13):

• 5K race: $35 (includes T-shirt) or $25 (no T-shirt)
• 1-Mile Fun Run: $10 or Family of Four: $30 (no T-shirts)

🚨 Registration on race day:

• 5K: $40
• 1-Mile Fun Run: $15 or Family of Four: $35 (no T-shirts)

🍻 Runners aged 21+ can enjoy a FREE beer with valid ID & race bib! 🍺 Non-alcoholic options will be available!

📅 Packet Pickup:

• Friday, August 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The ARK House
• Race Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on-site
