Advanced Improv Fundamentals - Aree Witoelar
About the Workshop
This 2-day intensive is designed for experienced improvisers eager to enhance their fundamentals and create impactful scenes. Do your scenes tend to drift after a strong start? Together, we will refine your skillset, making your moves bolder and your choices sharper. Expect personal feedback to help you evolve as a great improviser.
We will focus on longform improvisation techniques for both Narrative and Game of the Scene, blending the actor's perspective with a director’s insight. Explore classic forms such as the Harold, Living Room, Close Quarters, Pretty Flower, and Hero’s Journey, while identifying the key skills for each. On the second day, we will collaboratively design a show that highlights the strengths of you and your team.
You can participate individually or as a team to develop a format you are working on.
