AI × Sustainability: Making Sense of the Built Environment
AI is everywhere in the built environment conversation. From designing lower-carbon buildings and reducing energy use to improving day-to-day operations, new applications seem to emerge every week. Yet it can be difficult to tell where the field really stands.
Which ideas are already being deployed? Which ones are still emerging? Where is the industry heading? And what does it really take to move from research into real-world implementation?
Let's explore those questions together.
This session marks the first in a series by Lorong AI and Climate Change AI (CCAI), Lorong AI's community partner for sustainability, exploring where AI meets sustainability across different domains.
We'll begin with the built environment, bringing together voices from research, venture capital, and implementation. Each offers a different perspective on the same question. Together, they'll help us make sense of the landscape.
We'll start with short scene-setting sharings from each speaker before moving into a moderated panel and an open discussion shaped by everyone in the room.
Bring your questions, experiences, and perspectives.
