✨ About Joy Harjo
Joy Harjo is the 23rd U.S. Poet Laureate and a proud member of the Muscogee Nation. An accomplished author, her work includes numerous poetry collections, plays, children’s books, and memoirs, alongside seven music albums. With accolades such as the 2023 Bollingen Prize for American Poetry from Yale and the Guggenheim Fellowship, her contributions to literature and culture are profound. She is currently serving as the inaugural Artist-in-Residence for the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she resides.
