The fifth edition of this festival will showcase nearly 100 theaters throughout the U.S., Canada, U.K., and South and Central America, each featuring a unique selection of films that confront harsh truths and evoke deep empathy.

WATERSHIP DOWN is a remarkable adaptation of Richard Adams’s classic dystopian tale, masterfully reimagined by screenwriter-producer-director Martin Rosen. This film presents a community of rabbits facing grave threats from modern forces, and features stunning hand-drawn animation, dreamy artistic touches, and breathtaking background designs. Renowned voice talents such as John Hurt, Ralph Richardson, Richard Briers, and Denholm Elliott lend their voices to this emotionally charged allegory about the quest for freedom in times of political strife.
