🚀 Budapest Hardware Club

Welcome to the Budapest Hardware Club, the ultimate gathering for innovators and builders in the physical product space! Whether you're a firmware engineer, embedded developer, electrical engineer, PCB designer, hardware founder, maker, or a technical student, this meetup is tailored for you.

🛠️ Event Highlights:

Join us as we delve into the world of modern firmware development with our first event focusing on how to build and test firmware before the final hardware is ready. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Firmware architecture that distinguishes between logic and BSP/HAL code
  • Simulation and hardware digital twins
  • Continuous Integration (CI) in firmware development
  • Mocked peripherals and reproducible test cases
  • Understanding what can and cannot be tested without the actual board

Our goal is to minimize bench dependency, catch bugs early, and ensure that firmware development is solid and reliable!

🗓️ Schedule:

  • 18:30 - Doors open
  • 19:00 - Welcome and Intro
  • 19:10 - Talk: Modern Firmware Development: Build Before the Hardware Arrives
  • 19:25 - Demo: Technical examples and hands-on exercises (bring your laptop!)
  • 20:00 - Open discussion: Share hardware stories and network
  • 21:00 - Wrap-up

This is a practical engineering event you won't want to miss! Special thanks to Puzl Coworking for providing the venue.
