Cannings Court French & Breton Dance

Join us for a delightful weekend filled with music and dance from the Balfolk and Breton traditions!

Friday Night 🥘

• 7 PM: Enjoy a potluck supper and session in the barn. Everyone is welcome, so bring your instruments and a dish to share!

Saturday Night 💃

• 6:30 PM: Beginners dance workshop
• 7 PM: Refreshments will be available for purchase in the farmyard - beef, vegetable, and vegan stews for just £5 a bowl, inclusive of bread and cheese. (Please bring your own food for all other meals if camping.)
• 8 PM: Experience the magic of dance with two incredible bands!
  • WOD: A talented duo featuring fiddle player Jane Griffiths and Anglo-Concertinist Jim Penny, dedicated to performing beautiful Breton music that captivates both dancers and musicians alike.
  • VENN: This vibrant band brings the sounds of French and Breton balfolk to life with a mix of instruments including bagpipes, flutes, hurdy-gurdy, and accordion, promising energetic performances that invite everyone to dance!

After the Bands 🎻

• Join us for an acoustic floor session—everyone is welcome to play! Gather around the fire pit outside the barn.

Camping ⛺

• Camping is free of charge from Friday to Monday. BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE and enjoy free hot drinks!
• Join us for an open session on Sunday with whoever is still around.

🌾 Please note this is a working farm with dogs and livestock, so keep that in mind if you're bringing your dog.

Tickets: £17 per person at the door - Kids under 16 are free!

• Concessions available for £12.
• No advance tickets; just turn up—there's space for everyone!
