The time to rest is now! Join us for an afternoon of social rest on August 16th — same time, same place.

✨ A collaboration between Club Rest Stop and Centr.

Dear Resties,

After needing to reschedule due to rain, we're excited to return and rest together! Our first meeting was a fantastic success, and now we're shifting our focus to social rest.

💡 About the Event:
Last time, we explored the seven types of rest and practiced physical rest. This month, we will learn to gauge our social batteries, set boundaries for social engagement, and practice resting together.

🤝 This month, we're thrilled to partner with Centr, co-founded by Mahika Hari, a free app that enriches your social connections. Centr helps you maintain and deepen your relationships by remembering personal details, reconnecting intentionally, and understanding your own social battery.

📚 What to Expect:

• Rest kits (while supplies last!)
• A brief, friendly talk on social rest
• A game station for easy, low-key connections
• A book reading station to slow down
• A quiet zone for individual resting
• And more!

📍 Details:
🗓️ Sunday, August 16
⏰ 2–4 PM (Programming starts at 2:30 PM with a social-rest presentation, followed by activities and quiet time)
📍 Great Hill, Central Park, NYC

Getting There: Take the B/C uptown to 103rd St — the exit is directly across from a Central Park entrance. It's about a 5-minute walk to the Great Hill, located across from the bathrooms (if facing them, the Great Hill is on your right). Alternatively, enter at 106th and follow the signs for "Great Hill."

🎒 What to Bring:
Mostly yourself and a blanket to rest on. If you’d like, bring something to share, whether it's craft materials, snacks, or baked goods! It's not required, but a great way to connect with fellow Resties.
