Connect through hiking

Join us for an exciting pilot hike, led by community member Nilsono, who is eager to host her very first hiking event! 🌟

We’ll meet at Stovner metro (Narvesen Stovner T-bane) at 10:30 AM and set off promptly at 10:45 AM. The hike will take us through Liastua, around Gubberhaugen, and Kjerringfred along the blue trail/pilgrim path for approximately 2–3 hours.

Viewpoints 🏞️

• One viewpoint will overlook Groruddalen toward the fjord.
• The other will provide a view toward Nittedal.

We have two path options available: a steep staircase or a gentler forest trail, with the choice made on the day depending on the group. There might even be a tasty waffle/coffee stop if Liastua is open! ☕🥞

Important Notes

• No prior hiking experience is necessary! Nilsono knows the route well and will keep a friendly pace for everyone.
• I won’t be there in person as I’m away, but I’ll be supporting Nilsono via WhatsApp throughout the hike.
• Parts of the hike can be a bit demanding, especially the stairs, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes and be ready to enjoy some breaks along the way.

Remember, this is a group hike! No one walks alone, and if you finish early, please wait for the last member of the group to reach the top.
