Meet the Authors:

• Brooke Baum: A pre-published picture book author/illustrator and children's graphic novelist with exciting projects underway. Brooke is a 2025 PB Rising Stars mentee and has been recognized as a 2026 Boyds Mills scholarship recipient. She's also the current Bubbler Artist-in-Residence at Madison Public Library. • Kevin Henkes: Renowned for both his writing and illustrations, Kevin is a recipient of the Children’s Literature Legacy Award. His celebrated works include Kitten’s First Full Moon, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, and many more. He lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his family.
